Pressure Radio was formed late 2006, borne from a love of music by 3 cousins (David Gorecki, Johnny Paradowski and Mark Pietryk) and a very close friend (Anthony Vestri). After previous exploits in other bands, Pressure Radio has come together as a culmination of different sounds and genres to create a unique blend which is essentially rock at the core. These Melbourne based musicians have been carving out a niche on the Melbourne scene, playing at venues such as The Espy, Revolver, QBH, Ding Dong Lounge, Royal Melbourne Hotel and The Barwon Club (Geelong). The music of Pressure Radio is diverse in range, and whilst it retains melody and vocal harmony, can be dark and intense lyrically. The bands live performances are full of energy and intensity with beats that will make you bounce; nobody leaves a gig disappointed! Even the groups recordings ooze this same vigour and enthusiasm!
