Prism.
From the Inner West of Sydney, PRISM are somewhat geometric, yet mostly a rock outfit pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable to be released as 'music'. Their edges are edgy and also simultaneously parallel and perpendicular, creating an unintelligible 3Dimensional object projected into 4Dimensional world.
Prism is a small rock band located in the Redlands in South East Queensland. The band's debut single 'Her Eyes' was released on the 20th of July 2020.
All the synth sounds were manually drawn and designed using a simple sofware FM Synthesis sample generator. All drum loops and beats are original-- programmed by hand (or mouse), hit by hit. Percussion and other samples are either original recordings, lo-fi rips of 80's drum machines, or random sounds recorded using a budget Tandy microphone. Prism now resides in Melbourne Victoria, Watch this space for further info.
