Fronted by singer-producer Liam Stacey (The Regime), spawned from a vintage reverie, Pro Uno is playfully psychedelic, smothered in funky soul, and irrefutably ‘on the One’. Stacey prod-mix-mast'd the acclaimed album 'Sunny Day' producing tracks like 'Never Gonna Stop' from his Inner West Sydney bedroom, metres from the train lines, before a Biblical deluge put the project on hold—Production continued in a mould infested rehearsal-room in Manly where single Sunny Day was created. Carting his oversized computer and bag of preamps around Sydney from place to place, until finally settling for a short while to complete the album at the iconic Studio at Wonderland Ave Tamarama—the creative birthplace of Australian acts Potbelleez, Genesis Owusu & Royel Otis. Pro Uno is now setup in Byron Bay at the vintage HQ (which also just flooded 🤦♂️), but Stacey's undying optimism prevails, and the new single “Four letter word' is due 8th June, with 6-8 track album "Baby Blue" to follow.
