Fifteen years after their debut album ‘The Mirror’ (whose opening track ‘Phobia’ was aired on Aussie airwaves and the video clip broadcast nationally on ABC TV’s ‘Rage’ throughout 1996), PROJECT X AUSTRALIA deliver their long-awaited second album, ‘D GENERATION’. Featuring members from BLACK STEEL, ALLEGIANCE, TRILOGY, THE SIREN TOWER, RAGDOLL, GLAMNATION and others, the collective hard rock and metal experience in the band spans from guitarist Jamie Page’s writing credits for QUEEN guitarist BRIAN MAY, to support slots with DEEP PURPLE, JUDAS PRIEST, SLAYER, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY and more. Combining traditional and power metal elements reminiscent of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Manowar, The Scorpions and Accept, the ‘D Generation’ album also draws heavily from the likes of Primal fear, Hammerfall and Dream Evil. A tough Aussie edge, inherited from Oz rockers like AC/DC, Rose Tattoo and The Angels is also added to the performances. Indeed, a highlight of the album is Project X
