Edit history

Protubero is a solo project of multi-instrumentalist and sound-producer Eugene Chernov. It started in 2019 when Eugene moved from Russia to Australia and found his new home in Adelaide. The vibrant atmosphere of this place and a new style of life inspired him to step outside the comfort zone of rock and metal music he played before and design a project by his own rules. Protubero is a territory of experiments, where EDM meets heavy guitar riffs under the umbrella of atmospheric world music. It is a fully DIY studio project, and Eugene runs all the stages of music production (composing, arranging, recording, and mixing) by himself. So far, Protubero released two singles ("Asparagus"; "Salty") and one EP "No, Only Those Who Knew". The debut album is coming in December 2021, it is the result of exploring rock through the lens of electronic dance music.
