Representing Sydney, PTXYK (PaperToy x Yonderkid) produce hip hop beats with inflections of trap, r’n’b and electronica. Combining Yonderkid’s sampling and wonky beats prowess with PaperToy’s more synth and bass oriented production, the duo have created their own sound which appeals to hip hop heads and electronic music fans alike. Live beat making and full-blown electronic productions all melded into a set are what characterise PTXYK’s live show, showcasing the production of both producers solo and duo work. With an electric live show, PTXYK have been unleashing their sound and showing audiences a different side of the Australian beats/hip hop scene.
