Formerly known as ‘Visual Asperity’, Melbourne band Puppet Society with their intricate guitar work, driving bass and sublime vocals, are beginning to make their mark on the Australian music scene. Members Marina Santos (Lead Vocals), David Fong (Guitar), Jack Low (Guitar), Jason Chua (Bass) and Alwyn Wong (Drums and Backup Vocals) entered the band with wildly varying influences from metal to pop, helping Puppet Society carve out a sound uniquely theirs whilst maintaining beautiful variety within their own songs. With an energetic stage presence, unmatched ability with their weapons of choice, and an intense ability to entertain, Puppet Society are able to replicate the bands recorded sound on stage with ease. 2010 saw giant leaps for Puppet Society both on and off stage. The band was picked up by Melbourne based Management Company ‘Maponus Music’ and saw them sharing stages with bands like Thousand Needles In Red (The Butterfly Effect front man Clint Boge side project), Fading
