"Purling Brook is the latest musical endeavour from ex-Rattlehand founder Josh Shelton; whose love of blues, country and folk music continue to shine through in this new project. Joined now by vocalist Dan Starkey, the duo are set to release their first EP in late 2015. Purling Brook perform two-part vocal harmonies with acoustic guitar, blues harp and songs about everything from bush-rangers to serial killers to 1950’s feminist drug runners. The emphasis is on narrative, storytelling, perfect harmonies and harmonious moments with the audience."
