Purple Behaviour love to play and record in the moment. Every note is important and every jam an event with lots of laughs and some magic, too. Our prime objective is to create something good from nothing. To find those special moments that only come when you're relaxed. Moments that can’t be practiced and produced on call… that only appear when you’re with the right people and let yourself go. Purple Behaviour are based in and around Fremantle, Western Australia. The core band is made up of Gareth Mealor from WA and Ahmed Ramadan from Cairo, Egypt. We also record, play and perform with quite a variety of other musicians. As long as they like having a good time and stretching out. Much of our music consists of the interplay between guitar, bass, moog and other synthesizers, with occasional excursions including marimba and didgeridoo (courtesy of Naoko Yamada and Sanshi :) Please enjoy our purple offerings!
