Driven by baritone guitar, synthesizers, drum machines, and eerie soundscapes, PURPLE HECK is a musical project by award-winning Berlin-based Canadian composer James O’Callaghan. After decades of writing electronic music and works for ensembles, soloists, and orchestras, PURPLE HECK is the realization of a long-felt urge to make rock songs - sharing his own voice and playing for the first time.
