Purr Usual are a 4 piece electronic psych-rock band from Melbourne lead by singer-songwriter Gabe Strachan. Their new single 'Ready To Fly' is a mid-tempo electronic slow burner built on a chorus of analogue synths, live drums and electronic beats.  Purr Usual will be launching the single on August 5th with a playable online game reminiscent of the original space invaders arcade game. The game is being developed by Purr Usual's guitarist-turn-coder Tim Palstra with assistance from some local graphic designers.  'Ready To Fly' will be the first of three singles dropping this year on the run up to a 6 track EP planned for release in November via the indie label Hegel's Bagels.
