The 10 piece band, Quantum Milkshake, is a exploration of dance music through surrealist, soundtrack-influenced melodies and audible textures. With the addition of visual projections and on stage performance, Quantum Milkshake delivers a synesthetic engagement of the senses, allowing audiences to interact on multiple levels. Scheduled to play at Rainbow Serpent Festival whilst having played at festivals like St Kilda Festival, Folk, Rhythm and Life Festival, Tanglewood Festival and Commongrounds Festival, the release of their debut album “Determination”, has been recognised as a “tripped out, psychedelic cacophony of sound”, “a sound that is undeniably galactic”, including “jaw-droppingly impressive production” and “highly intelligent compositions”. Through the leader, composer, and producer, Fabian Acuña, development of the band acts upon the relentless passion for magical, beautiful and memorable experiences.
