Qubism formed many years ago in a time when computers and music were not the lovers that they are today. A chance meeting brought together an Italian film score junkie and an Australian obsessed with rare jazz. Marco Muzi and Donnie O, inspired by their love of the old decided it was time to reclaim the sounds of yesteryear that charmed us all before. A blistering string of live shows later, supporting The Avalanches, Pepe Deluxe, Mix Master Mike and others alike saw them launched onto the Aussie map. Fast forward 2 years and with the italian living in London and the australian in Sydney, one would have expected the worst, but not so. By corresponding online, and with sessions moving back and forth around the globe they cobble together a rough album demo, that encapsulates their love of 60s italian film score, psychedelia and fusion. Relax, sit back and enjoy.
