Queen Akini recorded their album 'Outburst' after many hours of perfecting songs they played at their live shows. Here's two reviews "...blending the beauty of melodic passages with dissonant tenderness and abrasive coarse rock, bringing together feelings of frustration and thoughtful introspection. The members share a love of harmony while also not being afraid of dissonance." Border Watch, Mt Gambier "...the mesmerizing sounds of Queen Akini, featuring textured, soaring and often minimal guitars, leaving breathy female vocals space to shine while tight, driving rhythms provide the backbone. With diverse talents within the band, Queen Akini provide a sound and style unlike any other and are sure to become a local treasure." Border Watch, Mt Gambier
