Genevieve and Sarah, both born and raised with music, met in year 8 at Kedron State High School. Although, little did they know that they would end up being a musical duo! Towards the end of year 9 they decided to join together to make an Indie/Pop duo called "Quintessential Life". They've so far written several songs and performed at their year 10 investiture with a cover of 'Glow' by Robert Manion, an emerging Tasmanian artist. At the moment they're working towards recording an EP with Genevieve's older brother's music company. They were told about the triple j's Unearthed competition at their school when their current music teacher recommended they submitted their work. So they decided to submit Genevieve's music assessment 'Splinters' due to popular demand. They hope that people enjoy their music as much as they enjoy creating it.
