Quirk the Gimp (QTG), thus far, has evaded genre classification, but has been described as playing a funk and groove, epical metal pop compilation. What is that you may ask? You’ll just have to press play folks, or get your arse to one of their explosive live gigs!! The QTG sound has been influenced by all music; artists such as The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Faith No More, Audioslave, Fishbone, Infectious Grooves, Prince, Pink Floyd, David Bowie and Primus to name but a few. The QTG sound is not only defined by their musical influences however. It also speaks their view of the world, speaks of a greater tomorrow for humanity and the planet we call Earth. QTG creates music that inspires unity and which evokes dance and thought, but which also puts a smile on ya dial! As soon as you see QTG it is apparent they are performers as well as musicians. They dabble in the theatrical, are known for their wicked humour and always manage to go further than anyone expects or thinks possible.
