We are Rainbow Death Ray! All female, all fun, Rainbow Death Ray is a unique Sydney-based genre bending band fusing diverse genres from electronic pop to industrial metal and heavy rock. Having made their debut performance supporting Crash Tragic in late 2014, Rainbow Death Ray has moved from strength to strength, defying the stereotypes and challenging the male dominance of the underground music scene. Rainbow Death Ray was formed by front woman Mariko Gray, formerly of Wintergaunt, who combines Amy Lee’s melancholic melodies with Angela Gossow’s aggressive growl, while also introducing her own twisted violin solos. Kit Wing provides the driving, grooving bassline, while keytarist Annaïs Paris wealth of knowledge on the fun, bouncy synths of dance music keeps fans coming back for more infectious sounds.
