Rainbow Massacre are a lively 5-piece alternative rock band from the Eastern hills of Melbourne that create a combination of electrically-charged power-grooves laced with tantalizing psychedelia marked by introspectively honest lyrics. Rainbow Massacre drape colourful vocal melodies over a mesmerizing brand of big & dynamic instrumentals, like a sword fight with a bag of skittles. They can be broadly described as an alternative rock band carrying the torch from the 90s, with shades of metal, psychedelic rock, and progressive rock. Add a sprinkle of indie rock, a dash of stoner rock, and a dabble of post-rock, and you have the big concoction of Rainbow Massacre noises comin' atcha. With a focused intent towards an energetic live show, Rainbow Massacre seek to take their audience on a journey by blurring the line of balance between mindlessly rocking out and engaged captivation. Taste the rainbow!
