Random TANGENT are a high energy 4 piece rock band and intense group of rockers with a unique 90’s sound, defined by a strong combination of edgy guitar, melodic bass rhythms and a chick singer with a set of pipes on her that would put any man to shame. The have been building a buzz in the local scene since they took to the stage together in early 2015. Forming in 2014 when singer Meg Williams met an unlikely combination of drummer / songwriter / backing vocalist Brett Whitbread in the local scene, incendiary “Slash inspired” guitarist David Ollier, and bass man with a strong musical pedigree Scott Douglas, the band began jamming original material in a local panel shop. ‘It was immediately clear that we had a great chemistry together, and our common love for creating intense music quickly turned into songs with strong hooks that gave us goose bumps, and we knew that we had something special on our hands. We just clicked and we couldn’t wait to get our music out there’. With songs
