Rastageorge. George Davis was born and raised on the West of Africa in Sierra Leone. George has been playing guitar for the past 30 years and has played with bands around Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Ghana throughout that time acquiring different styles of playing music. He plays guitar, bass guitar, percussions & little bit of key boards & sings as well. I’m a semi - multi instrumentalist with blues & reggae style. I’ve featured with bands like steel pulse,Toots & the Metals, Sonny Okosun’s Ozzidi in Nigeria, Spirit Konekson in Nigeria, Barranca of Sierra Leone, Miatta FahnBulleh of Liberia, Omaha Band in Australia & finally George Davis all stars band in Tasmania before I went solo to do my first & second compilation albums, namely “Politricksians Give us a break” & “Time will tell “ the current album 2023.(I played with original Ras Kirby in Ghana). I’m an independent artist with Cdbaby publishing company in America. I hope to open a recording studio in the future. I came to Australia as a refugee with my 3 daughters in 2005. I attended TasTafe in Launceston to do my music studies for 3 years to complete my Certificate 4 I music, & I graduated to be the most outstanding music student in 2008. Music is my passion & life & I’ll die with it. My great thanks to the Australian Government for bringing me & my children here. May Jan Bless Australia & protect her always. Ahmed.!!
