Rather Be Dead are a DIY alternative punk band who formed in 2010 in the cultural desert that is Goulburn, NSW. Though their musical releases are few and far between, the band has a rather small following of extremely enthusiastic fans and has been lucky enough to share stages with some of Australia's finest punk rock acts; including The Bennies, The Hard Aches, Clowns and Fear Like Us. The band released their first full length album 'Church' in December 2015, but is currently on hiatus awaiting the return of guitarist and front man Dukesy, who is currently ripping the lid off it in the UK.
