About rationalsymphony Back in the winter of 2005, guitarist Tom Griffin teamed up with fellow guitarist and singer Ben Sparksman. They set about forming a band, They Formed 'Rational Symphony' and they wanted to take it somewhere. Their sights were set on 2006's battle of the bands, hopes were high. They got Michael Pattison, a drummer of 8 years into the band. They also recruited Dave Hall, Punk rocker who plays bass. After a short-while, Tom was out of the band. Tom set off and became part of another band 'Audacious'. Rational Symphony kept going and in search of a lead-guitarist. Near the end of term 1 2006, sadly due to unforseen circumstances, Dave had to depart. But soon after they got James Burton to play bass. With the 2006 battle of the bands coming up, they got down into rehearsing hard, although new lead guitarist Alex Creswick was not cutting it. They got rid of Alex, and got rid of a friend. That same day Aled was out, Tom was back in! They went on to open the 2006
