Although an indie-pop artist at heart, Rav DOA intersperses his sound with influences from the genres of alternative R&B, hip-hop and folk. Drawing influence from these genres, he specialises in conveying his emotions directly to the listener to create a digitised yet authentic listening experience. Rav DOA's music echoes moments of melancholy that are juxtaposed by his utilisation of electronic drums and sampled vocals.
