Raven Stealing the Sun “According to legend, Raven, the trickster, gave light to the world. At one time the world was in darkness because a powerful chief kept the sun hidden in a box. Through cunning and trickery Raven stole the sun and placed it in the sky.” We were drawn to this myth by the "joker" the raven and how it gave light to the world, and yes cliche and corney but a world without light is a world without music. *Drum roll* and so the band was named. We like to think of the raven as a joker and not the bird of death ... despite the ravens ability to take on varying persona's we are in fact NOT a hardcore band. Compiled of two midgets and a giant we are an ALL GIRL band living in Narooma on the NSW south coast. Absorbed in the beach scene we play reggae/roots/alternative.
