Regun Othic is an interstellar Agent operating under the auspices of the Pan Galactic Polity Special Circumstances Division. He became stranded on Earth while in pursuit of three Separatist Guerrillas, who disabled his ship before making their escape. His only chance of getting off this backwater is to collect enough pure elemental Dubnium to power his crippled craft, or rescue from a passing spaceship or other trans-system entity. To this end he has been encoding SOS messages into pieces of "Music" which he hopes will be broadcast on radio, increasing his chances of rescue within the next three thousand years.
