Born in Uganda and raised in Ipswich, meet Redeye Gizzi a local artist making waves in the Queensland Hip-Hop scene. channelling a classic Atlanta trap sound ‘Indestructible’ is Reddeye Glizzi's moment of triumph. Backed by heavy 808s and sombre piano lines, he mixes melodies with bars about the adversity he has faced, and his determination to overcome all obstacles. It’s inspired by a year of self-reflection and personal struggles, which you can hear in his passionate delivery, which is rich with hunger, and determined to crush any hurdles in his way. Speaking on the song, Glizzi states “The overall message that I try to portray through the song is that ‘No matter what is going on in your life, you are ultimately responsible for the outcome.’ It is to encourage people and say that if you apply yourself and work hard at what you love to do, then you will succeed.”
