The Reactions are a nifty little rock'n'roll band from Hobart, Tasmania. Sometimes they get lucky and play gigs with proper bands such as The White Stripes, The Dirtbombs, The Black Keys, The Living End, The Greenhornes, Dallas Crane, Jebediah, The Hard Ons, The Drones, The Mess Hall and Rocket Science. Usually they just gig for kicks with people around town who also have bands. Besides what's more fun than playing in a band with your mates on a Friday night? They've done a bunch of other pleasant activities such as release music on US record label compilations, had airplay on European and American radio in addition to National (JJJ) and Community radio in Australia, been invited to do live radio performances around Australia, survived a handful of tours to the big island and even got a mention in the Rolling Stone Yearbook 2004. Reactions are a 5 piece hardcore band from Adelaide South Australia. Taking to the road and spreading their metal influenced hardcore sound, they have made an impact on their local scene and are making their name known nationwide. Touring with bands such as: Stick To Your Guns(US), Ocean Grove, Knocked Loose(US), Xibalba(US), Deez Nuts, Void of Vision as well as supporting locally: Parkway Drive, Stray From The Path, Silverstein, Code Orange and more has seen them play at major cities across the country numerous times, as well as a visit to South East Asia in May 2016. With a new EP 'Discomposure' out on Resist Records they have progressed in their sound and the band are back on the scene and heavier than ever.
