Ready The Prince is a young Toronto-based indie alt-rock trio. Their organic and natural approach to songwriting and performance draws from the rich musical traditions of generations past, and their music ranges from groovy to moody, with some tracks showing high energy and catchy hooks, and others more melancholic and heavy undertones. The story of Ready The Prince started in 2010, when Stephen DeCiantis and Daniel Prada started playing as an acoustic duo called The Science Club. In search of a more visceral sound, they added a drummer and became Ready the Prince in 2012. In 2014 they found an online ad for Stefan Loebus, their current drummer, and instantly discovered a chemistry that has persisted to this day. Although the trio would be quite happy to describe themselves as a rock and roll band, their sound is identifiably modern in its complexity and eclecticism. In addition, the different background and influences of each band member can be heard in their music. Steve’s vocals
