What started off as a trans-continental cowriting project between Belgium’s Gilles Gerlo & Sydney’s Paul Kilpinen has now become genuine indie pop band REAL MOXY. Layers of synths, guitar melodies and vocal harmonies blend their love of lush studio pop with DIY bedroom production. Real Moxy proudly presents their debut album "Shape Up". A labour of love, friendship and obsessive tinkering that has been 3 years in the making. Elements of 80s synth nostalgia and early 2000s indie rock combine, but always the band's love of pop is front and center. Lead single Carfax Abbey is released along with the album. It sees Real Moxy don a velvet cape and delve deeper into electronica than ever before.
