Irish musician and songwriter Rebecca Collins has covered a lot of ground, both musically and geographically, since the release of her debut album Chameleon Blues in 2008. She has moved country twice, founded the Danish indie-noir outfit The Unusual History of Ether, and has released three more records in the interim. Her next solo album SOLAR is out on the 21st October and as her fifth release in six years, it is a faithful reflection of the rigorous passion with which she has pursued her muse. Growing up in the beach town of Tramore, Co. Waterford, Rebecca immersed herself in nature as a child, and began writing songs in private as a teenager. She kept her musical aspirations to herself for several years until she was accepted onto Trinity College's Masters program in Music and Media Technologies at the age of 21.
