Red Leader is a 4 piece indie synth-pop outfit from Melbourne. With a continually evolving sound and a live show to match, the constants for RL are energy, melody, and a dark pop vibe which seamlessly blends 80's sounds with contemporary styles. On their latest offering, 'Islands', the band explore new sonic spaces, combining vast house and trance pads with hauntingly intimate vocals, acoustic guitars and percussion. The result is an otherworldly pop lament set against a backdrop of dance beats and purring, chiming synths. http://www.facebook.com/redleaderband
