Tired of the generic rock band setup, Red Oxygen is a four man band with eight instruments gracing the stage. The symbiosis between live music played and recorded backing compositions turns Red Oxygen into a 16 piece accompaniment, thus transforming the feel of small venues into stadiums. Its recognition of the past with orchestral symphonic, the present with guitar driven riffs and the future with electronic soundscapes is what makes their sound so unique. Inspired by a variety of artists like Muse and Nine Inch Nails, Red Oxygen's words and composition were formed to captivate and transport the listener to a higher plane where every song speaks directly to the soul. The ideas and themes of Red Oxygen vary significantly. In "Forcing to Purify" and "Media-ocrity", they stand as neutral observers of situations concerning today’s current affairs without opinion. Contrast to this the fantasy element found in "Lasso" and "Ballistaphobia" where the meanings are found within metaphors
