Edit history

The Remnants are an original three piece alternative rock band from the Central Coast, Australia. Influenced by a range of genres of music including blues, jazz/funk, psychedelia, indie pop, progressive rock and everything in between. Artists who inspire us include The Beatles, Radiohead, Midnight Oil, Jeff Buckley, Led Zeppelin, Bjork, The Mars Volta, Doves, You Am I, Supergrass and many more.. The Remnants take all this inspiration and lovingly craft it into their own fresh style, whilst never forgeting how effective a simple, catchy song can be. The members have had a wealth of live experience both within The Remnants and in previous bands, and are well known to put on a powerful show that will not let up until everyone in the room has their undivided attention. The Remnants are currently in the midst of pre producing their debut album which hopefully will be completed and released by the end of 2009. Check our myspace for upcoming gigs and have a shithot day.
