Albury born, Melbourne local Renn Picard is most often associated with 10- piece band The Northern Folk. Now taking a focus on his own writing, Renn blends warm harmony with lyrics that explore the shared complexities of existence. Taking cues from artists including The Middle East and Joni Mitchell, Renn's genre remains as ambiguous as the terms folk and alternative.
