Between writing jangly guitar pop with Meanjin/Brisbane based band Dumb Things, Renovator's Delight has crafted a melancholic yet playful body of indie songs that are just the right amounts of unvarnished and unhinged. Lead single 'Bucket of Water' is a minimalist, shimmering musing on time and distance. Too buoyant to sink, too contemplative to wash away, Bucket of Water floats above the heartbreak on the blue, sun-dappled surface.
