Repeat Script was born in 2013 when Melbourne songwriter/producer Stu Watts released a bunch of emo songs that were sitting on his laptop to Bandcamp. Fast forward nearly 10 years, and Stu has returned (after a COVID-19 forced hiatus) with a fully formed band that features members from The Spinset, Tiny Mountain and the live drummer for internationally-acclaimed Harts. The latest single "Can You Hear Me?" is a mid-tempo punk rock song that blends the 90s Fat Wreck Chords sounds (think No Use For A Name) with modern emo-punk influences of Bayside and The Alkaline Trio. With sad lyrics, minor chords, larger than life drums and ripping guitar solos, the song is sure to impress fans of the genre and newcomers alike.
