Coming together towards the end of 2018, Repriever got to work. September 2019 saw the release of their debut EP Idle Minds, as well as the departure of vocalist Mark and the joining of Joshua Stewart. Following this, Repriever made their live debut at the Hamilton Station Hotel in November 2019 which was followed by Canberra, Sydney and Newcastle again to close off the year. Repriever had a quiet 2020, as did most of the music industry, but there was some time spent in the studio and a signing to Hard Drive Agency which lead to the release of Grim in February 2021. Along with the release, Repriever hosted a weekender to promote the single. These were the final shows of guitarist Reyne Perry before his departure from the band. Grim gained traction fast following its release, earning it a place in playlists Home-grown and Heavy on spotify and Heaps Heavy on Apple Music as well as gaining 25,000+ streams between the two services within six months of release.
