Rhythm Shift perform as a duo and four piece band on the Central Coast, Sydney and Newcastle. Joanne sang in the school choir as a child and then forgot all about music, save for singing in the shower, until she met Wayne in 2009. With Wayne ’s help and encouragement Joanne finally found the courage to stand up and sing in front of people and hasn’t looked back. Joanne has also turned her hand to writing music. Wayne has performed in a variety bands (rock, country, jazz, blues) on the NSW Central Coast and Hunter Valley over the last 30 years and was formerly a member of the successful Central Coast bands “Only Human”, "Austin Void", "Stonecutter", "ICBM (In Certain Bent Members)", "Rated R", "Intrigus" and the 40/UP Club band. Wayne has also had a two year stint in a Country band with "Just Country'n'us" and is also a talented songwriter
