Rich King Matthews have been lurking around for some time now. They’ve been playing gigs, writing songs and generally filling as many ears with their lovely music as possible. They recently recorded their debut EP at Norman Solander Studios. The five piece work with beautiful, layered harmonies and textured instrumentation, building up to enormous choruses of group vocals and even more harmonies. It’s at once recognisable, but difficult to put a finger on. It’s familiar yet completely unique in it’s own right. (Bio courtesy of Rotunda Media)
