"(Rich Uncle Skeleton) are on the cutting edge of hard Australian hard rock/punk/metal and it seems like they can only get better." www.thedwarf.com.au "Though it's a genre that can go horribly wrong, these guys had the mix down pat. The integration of the funk was as good as you could get. The riffs were chunky and fat and the musicianship hit all the right buttons" -Drum Media (Sydney) 06/02/10 Pulling in audiences with their explosive live show, macabre tongue-in-cheek comedy and infectious melodies for the past five years, Rich Uncle Skeleton started 2010 with a bang by launching their album at the Annandale Hotel on February 6. With a new band name, new sound and new line-up showcased for the first time on the eve of the album launch. Rich Uncle Skeleton are no strangers to stylistic and line-up changes. Emerging onto the Sydney scene in 2006 as a funk rock act called Sargent Sapphire, the band has gone through enough drummers to give Spinal Tap a run for their money.
