Of Rick’s debut EP Spiral, the Great American Song Contest wrote “This is impressive songwriting! The melodic aspects perfectly capture the emotional tone of the songs. The classic alt country/R&B musical aspects are brilliant. It’s a genuine pleasure to review this exceptionally high level of songwriting.“ With a voice that floats with soulful warmth and honesty, Rick Hart may break your heart, but will leave you with the hope that it can always mend. A storyteller, whose words and melodies weave through all the dynamics and extremes of human emotions and relationships. Heartache, loss, reflection, regret, optimism and hope all find chapters within his stories. A perfect tapestry of melodic simplicity and thoughtful imagery. This multi award winning songwriter (2014 Songwriter of the Year, Australian Songwriters Association awards), delivers songs, often simple in nature, yet endearing in ways that will stay with you. Think the soulful tenderness of Van Morrison against the back
