Rick's Bar are an exciting, young rock band hailing from the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Consisting of Daniel Solomon (vocals/guitar), David Evers (guitars), Aswin Lakshman (drums), and Nick Leggatt (bass), the four met in high school and after quickly becoming mates, they soon realised that they all shared a passion for music. It was not long after that they found themselves jamming in Evers' garage and beginning to write their own distinctive brand of original music. The band's popularity quickly grew, playing several local gigs, including prominent finishes in many battle of the bands competitions, giving rise to their reputation as very entertaining and energetic, solid live act. Taking their name from the iconic drinking-place featured in the classic film 'Casablanca', Rick's Bar soon self-recorded a demo, through which their songs received very high praise. They have recently recorded and released their first EP 'The British House of Commons'. Their tunes
