Riley has always been interested in music, playing the piano and violin in primary school, then later on taking up saxophone while also being a part of several school ensembles and choirs. However, she found her love for music with singing and songwriting. Riley later started to teach herself piano, guitar and bass. In her spare time, she writes and records original songs and is looking forward to pursuing more musical opportunities.

Hi, I'm Riley and I'm from Brisbane! I am a singer songwriter and play at gigs in and around Brisbane. I also do my fair share of weddings, parties, and anything! My original songs are often quite spontaneous and like most singer song writers they evolve because of what is going on in my life or in the world around me. I have a great many influences that have shaped my music and writing, people like Patty Griffin, The Waifs, Missy Higgins, The Dixie Chicks, Kimbra, Sia, Ray Lamontagne, Vera Blue and the list goes on. I enjoy playing covers and putting my own little spin on them, the challenge of changing it up and making it my own is extremely satisfying. Relevent secret talents: I can sleep almost anywhere in public and I can catch edible objects (e.g. maltesers) in my mouth from quite a distance
