Music in Brisbane is a friendly affair, it's the equivalent of a good gossip over the backyard choko vine. Rise of the Ibis (R.O.T.I) have survived a few years staring into screens and avoiding the over-use of mod wheels on crappy synths. Like the feathered beaks who are ROTI's namesake, they have developed an ability to sift through the trash in pursuit of something worth keeping. Raf M and Peter G are indeed two strange birds with a penchant for nosing through the sonic detritus of suburban life. The first collection of odds and sods assume the titles "Çelebrate'', "Truth Hurts", and "Be There".
