Risemann, founded by Nathan Hein after a long sabbatical from the music industry followed the breakup of original band RISE. Nathan performed solo around Adelaide for a number of months before recording his first solo EP “Inner Scream” with Rob Pippan. Nathan then joined forces with Joel Stibbard (Drums/Percussion) after they met at the Open Mic nights held at the Coopers Ale House in the heart of Adelaide. The duo was later joined by Neil Pearce (Bass/Keyboards) to complete the group. Risemann's first performance as a group was at the Grace Emily in Adelaide for the release of the "Inner Scream". They then went on to perform at The Cabaret Café and The Duke of York before recording their first EP "Take Two" as a group. (Also produced by Rob Pippan) After airplay of “Inner Scream” on Hot 100 FM and ABC 105.7 FM in Darwin, Risemann was selected to play support to Triple J band The Beautiful Girls at the Darwin Fringe Festival. The group also played to sell out crowds at The Pub Bar
