Riverwood is quickly evolving into one of the scenes most intriguing musical entities. Almost impossible to pigeon hole as a genre, the bands brand of post punk rock inspired sounds, possess a key uniqueness that sets them apart, stemming from their unrivalled ear for composition, driving rhythm and soaring melodies. Influences range from Anberlin to Jimmy Eat World, Yellowcard to Foo Fighters, and stretch as far left as Imogen Heap (formerly Frou Frou), Fleetwood Mac and Dido. Ever searching for fresh sounds, experimentation is incorporated into every area of Riverwoods writing. Frontman Mike Horbacz leads with crisp deliverance, blending his unique voice with dynamic, high energy guitar sections provided by Dan Tully, Will Horbacz and Danny Bullock, all held by the solid beat stylings of Mat Tully.
