Rob Scott has been involved with Adelaide music for many years both as a gig organiser and as a songwriter and performer. Rob and Big Smoke play a variety of styles with a strong emphasis on Blues and on original songs within a Blues/Country/Singer-Songwriter style. Influences include Muddy Waters, Bob Dylan , Neil Young, Leonard Cohen and Johnny Cash and any music that forms the backbone of Rock and Roll. The band has an extensive repertoire of original and Blues/Rock classic songs which he has performed at core Adelaide Music venues such as The Exeter, The Governor Hindmarsh, The Grace Emily and The Wheatsheaf and at Festivals, Restaurants and Cafes around South Australia. The current line-up of Big Smoke features Rob Scott on guitars/bass and vocals, Patrick Page on Saxes, Andy Spy on drums and percussion and guest artists on additional guitars as required.
