Robot Turbo Marie is the recording project of Ian Kitney, drummer for Tim Rogers and the Temperance Union, Silver Night Drive, Rebecca Barnard, ThinMan and littlestar. Ian has combined a knowledge gained from constant playing, and a set of fine musicians to present a style of live music that is transportive and full of imagery. Indeed a Robot Turbo Marie gig features VJing by Jeanp00le. The debut album, CINEMATOPOEIA, is a concept album dealing with the outrageous ideas of Erich von Daniken in his book 'Chariots of the Gods?'. The album and short film are due for release late February 2007.
