West Australian singer/songwriter Rochelle O’Reilly is not only emerging as an artist, she is evolving as one too. She is the actual kind of ‘busy’. Busy with life, busy with music, busy combining them both as she tests her own boundaries as a multi-genre artist and boldly makes new inroads into the industry. The year 2024 saw a crystallisation of all her past efforts – her song The Water winning the Global category of the WAM Song Of The Year, a front-page photo out of all the artists who performed at the recent Blues at Bridgetown and an increasing gig schedule in general – and it is now that she is consolidating on her experience and these breakthrough moments through persistence and positivity. Her latest, 2025, 3-track album ‘The Hustler’ is a testimony to Rochelle’s journey, blending Pop, Ska and Jazz together in her multi-genre style. The lyrics to her latest song The Hustler, this Perth Singer-songwriter asks (cries, sings, commands, begs) you to ‘Never give up on me!’
