Emerging pop artist Ronan Maclean is set to release his debut EP THE MANIAC EP in June, the lead single “I HOPE U NEVER KNOW HER” is out now!. The project showcases Maclean’s versatility and strong pop music instincts, blending inspirations across four distinct tracks—all written, produced, and performed by him. What sets this release apart is the creative process behind it: most of the EP was recorded in his 2008 Kia Rio, a DIY approach that’s been gaining attention across social media. “It’s called THE MANIAC EP because every song is unique. I’m just experimenting, making whatever I think is cool,” says Ronan. “The one thing I can promise is that every song will be stuck in your head.” Originally from Brisbane, Maclean has built a loyal following through consistent releases and an authentic, hands-on approach to his craft. Previous singles like “Love Situation” and “robbery” received praise for their sharp production and catchy writing.
